Salvador Quinn’s Name Has Come Up Several Times In The Series

Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed that Salvador Quinn’s name first showed up inSiloseason 1.His name was on top of a copy ofSilo 18’s mysterious Pact, hinting that he was once among the leading authorities of the underground city. InSiloseason 2’s episode 4, Meadows mentions him moments before she dies after Bernard poisons her. She recalls that Salvador Quinn, the Head of IT 140 years ago, wrote a coded letter. Bernard realizes she might have deciphered the letter, which encouraged her to withdraw from her position as his shadow and spend the rest of her life in her apartment.

Through the letter, Meadows likely learned that the reason for building the silos was completely different, and the ones who built them were somehow responsible for destroying the outside world.

What Happened During The Silo’s Rebellion From 140 Years Ago

The Rebellion Was Extinguished By The Silo’s Authorities

InSilo’s present timeline, the characters only seem to have heard stories about the most recent rebellion, which took place close to 140 years ago. Silo 18 also celebrates “Freedom Day,” which commemorates how the conformers and the authorities successfully managed to stop the rebels before it was too late. Since Salvador Quinn was the leading figure in the Silo when the rebellion happened, he, like Bernard, must have led the movement against the rebellious people of the Mechanical.
