Yellowstone Spinoff The Madison Adds 4 New Casts Members (Including One From 1923)
Yellowstonedirector Christina Alexandra Voros explains how the upcoming spinoffThe Madisonconnects to the main series. Voros has helmed several episodes of the hit Western drama, most recently directingseason 5, episode 9, which explainedwhat happened to John Duttonafter Kevin Costner’s exit from the series. Voros will also be stepping behind the camera forThe Madison, which stars three-time Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer.
In an interview withVariety, Voros explained the connection betweenYellowstoneandThe Madison, notingthe key common thread is the landscape since both series take place in Montana. It’s such a different story. The common ground is the landscape. We are in Montana, but it is seen through a completely different lens, so it feels like another facet of this cut stone that has been polished. There are parallels in the scope of landscape and a human being’s place in that space, but it’s coming at it from a completely different point of view.
